As a publisher, I don’t see myself as a controlling director, but rather as a mediator and sounding board: someone who thinks along, offers advice, and provides support without taking over the author’s creative direction. The author remains at the helm, while I ensure a strong and reliable vessel to carry the story safely and professionally to the reader.
Submission Disclaimer
Please note that we only accept submissions from authors aged 21 and older. As we specialize in mature romance and nuanced adult narratives, we require our authors to possess the life experience necessary to navigate complex themes with depth and emotional maturity.
Furthermore, we are committed to protecting our brand identity and our authors within an increasingly volatile digital landscape. We maintain this age requirement to ensure our partners are well-equipped to handle the rigors of professional publishing and the complexities of modern social media engagement, thereby safeguarding our community from the reactive nature of online cancel culture. In cases of doubt regarding age eligibility, we reserve the right to request valid proof of identification.
What we do
Because of our vision we do things a little different. Below is what you can expect from us and what we expect from our authors.
Editorial
Our editorial process includes structural editing, line editing, and proofreading. We help refine the manuscript’s structure, sharpen the narrative, and strengthen the language without compromising the author’s unique voice. We provide clear, concrete feedback on pacing, consistency, tone, and clarity, and we check for minor grammatical or formatting issues. However, we don’t offer extensive spelling and grammar correction for heavily error-prone text.
We also believe in respecting the independence of our authors. They’re free to choose their own editors, and we fully support those who prefer to work with trusted professionals of their own. Our role is flexible: we can step in as much or as little as needed, always working as a partner to help bring the manuscript to its fullest potential, ready for publication.
Design
We believe that a book’s design should reflect its content and character. Our design process covers both cover and interior layout, balancing creativity with readability and market appeal. We work closely with authors to develop a visual identity that fits their story—whether that means bold and eye-catching or subtle and refined.
Authors are free to work with their own designers, but we also offer professional design services, including custom cover design, typography, layout formatting for print and digital editions, and guidance on visual branding. Our goal is to create a design that not only looks beautiful but also supports the reader’s experience and meets industry standards for publication.
Author support and contract management
We offer clear, transparent support throughout the publishing process, from the first draft to post-publication. Our approach is collaborative and respectful: we’re here to answer questions, offer guidance, and help authors navigate every step of their publishing journey.
When it comes to contracts, we prioritize fairness and clarity. Authors retain full copyright and creative control, and we avoid restrictive clauses or hidden obligations. Our agreements are straightforward and designed to protect the author’s rights while outlining responsibilities on both sides. We’re happy to explain every detail, and we welcome discussion, because a good partnership starts with mutual trust and understanding.
Marketing support
for authors
We support our authors in building a strong and authentic connection with their readers. While we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all marketing, we offer tailored guidance and practical tools to help each author promote their book effectively.
Our support can include help with writing blurbs, crafting press releases, planning a book launch, navigating social media, and identifying relevant promotional channels. We also collaborate with authors to define their target audience and positioning. Authors remain in control of their own marketing approach, but we’re here to advise, brainstorm, and provide professional input whenever needed.
Feedback and communication
Open, respectful communication is at the heart of how we work with authors. We believe in honest, constructive feedback that supports the author’s vision without imposing our own. Whether we’re discussing edits, design choices, or publishing strategy, our goal is to listen first, offer thoughtful input, and collaborate as equals.
We maintain clear and timely communication throughout the entire process, so authors always know where things stand. Questions are welcome, ideas are valued, and decisions are made together. We see every project as a partnership built on trust, transparency, and mutual respect.
Financial Investment
We believe in a collaborative partnership where professional quality is a shared priority. The publisher carries the vast majority of production and operational costs, ensuring your work meets the highest standards from the start.
For specialized elements—such as bespoke cover or interior design, custom artwork, or special editions—we treat these as joint investments. We will always discuss the scope and potential costs with you beforehand to ensure these creative decisions are made thoughtfully and agreed upon together.
As your book reaches the market, we continue to support its growth through reinvestment in marketing and distribution, with all financial responsibilities clearly outlined in our contract. Our goal is to maintain a transparent, sustainable balance that allows your work to thrive.
