I never wanted this life. Not the power, not the bloodshed, and certainly not the chains that come with being a DiSanti. But when my father dies, I have no choice: I must rise to the occasion, take control, and rule a world built on violence and fear.

And then there’s Harper. A woman who doesn’t belong in my world, but somehow crashes into it anyway. She’s fire and light in a life that’s always been dark. She makes me want things I can’t have, things I’d never let myself dream of.

But danger follows me like a shadow, and loving me means stepping into the storm.
